J CLASS REGATTA

The J Class Association is pleased to announce details of the J CLASS REGATTA to be held in NEWPORT R.I. USA, June 15th - 19th June 2011. Two yachts - RANGER and VELSHEDA have agreed to compete in the five day regatta, and it is hoped that more may be able to attend.The J's are back!

CORUM of Switzerland have been producing desirable watches since 1955 and have created specialised yachting watches, and in particular, their famous “Admiral’s Cup “ watch range.

David Pitman, Secretary of the J Class Association explained: “We selected Newport because of the close historic ties to the J Class fleet and Sail Newport to manage the race management because of their experience in running major racing regattas. We are looking forward to spectacular, close racing.”
